ReConnect Café : ウィキペディア英語版 | ReConnect Café ReConnect Café is a coffee shop in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York City. Founded by Father Jim O'Shea and Efrain Hernandez in summer 2013, it trains and employs young people of the neighborhood, especially young men, who would otherwise be unemployed. Its baked goods, which include cookies, apple turnovers, and empanadas, are made in its sister establishment, ReConnect Bakery, also by local youth. One 18-year-old employee has said, "It is a social job, but I'm happy it's not, like, a McDonald's job. In McDonald's you see tons of people. People would come in there with rude attitudes all day. The café is a little more personal. Here you know people's names and where they're from." ==References==
